
4-Channel Power Outlet
A customer had the requirement for a professional computer controlled light system in a ruff EMV environment. I designed the PCB using Opto-couplers, Noisefilters and oversized Triacs/Transistors.
The result is used in different control units now and works without problems. It controls up to 4 Channels of Light/Motors/Magnetic switches with a load of up to 8 ampere per channel.
The usage is microprocessor based light shows, running lights, and other control units.
Because of the design there's no noise in the power-lines and so computers and audio systems are not target of voltage spikes producing errors and wacky noise.
